PalmTara ("the app") is designed so that your palm never leaves your phone. This policy describes exactly what the app does with information, in plain language. The short version: your palm photos, your birth details and your readings are processed and stored on your device only. We do not collect them, we cannot see them, and we have no servers that receive them.

Photos and videos of your hand

• When you scan your palm, the camera captures a short video clip and photos of your hand. All analysis happens on your device. Hand detection uses an on-device machine-learning model; line detection is our own on-device image processing. Nothing is uploaded.
• The photo attached to a saved reading is stored in the app's private storage on your device. Deleting a reading deletes its photo. "Delete everything" in Profile removes all readings and all photos.
• Because images of your palm could be considered biometric information in some jurisdictions, we treat them with the strictest handling the app can offer: they are never transmitted, never backed up by us, and never shared unless you yourself use the share feature.

Birth details and horoscope data

• If you use the horoscope features, the app asks for your birth date, time and city. These are stored locally on your device and used only to compute your chart — on your device. They are never transmitted.
• Sky Match lets you enter another person's birth details to compare charts. Those details are compared in memory and never stored at all — they are gone when you leave the screen.

Readings and app data

• Your readings, daily prediction, chat conversations and settings are stored locally on your device using the app's private storage. We do not have accounts, and we do not sync or transmit this data.
• The share feature creates an image on your device and hands it to Android's standard share dialog. What happens after you choose an app to share to is governed by that app.

What the app does NOT do

• No account creation, no sign-in.
• No collection of names, contacts, location, or identifiers by us.
• No transmission of palm images, birth details or readings to any server.
• No sale or sharing of personal data.

Advertising and purchases

• The free version may show a single banner advertisement and an optional rewarded video that you choose to watch. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers and coarse data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's privacy policy. You can reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
• Premium subscriptions are processed by Google Play / the Apple App Store and, for entitlement management, RevenueCat. We receive no payment card details.

Camera permission

The camera permission is used only to photograph your palm when you start a scan. The app records no audio (the scan clip is captured muted) and does not use the camera in the background.

Children

The app is intended for users 13 and older and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Delete any reading, or everything, at any time from within the app.
• Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
